Corden heads to UK
James Corden is to travel to the UK to film three British-themed episodes of The Late Late Show to air on Sky 1.
The host of the CBS chat show, which has spawned viral hit Carpool Karaoke, will record his Fulwell 73 and CBS Productions at Westminster’s Central Hall in June.
The 30-minute show’s musical and comedy segments will be given a British twist for their broadcast at 10pm on Sky 1. The episodes will also air on CBS in the US.
In June, Sky struck a deal with CBS for it to feature The Late Late Show as part of its on-demand service, building on its relationship with Corden who has hosted sports-themed quiz show A League Of Their Own since 2010.
Sky 1 director Adam MacDonald said: “James is hugely loved by the Sky 1 audience and it will be a proud moment for the channel to share what he and The Late Late Show gang have in store for us.”
The show will be exec produced by Fulwell 73’s Ben Winston and Robert Crabbe.
