Soho 601 hires Jones as MD

Soho 601 has taken on Rushes facilities director Paul Jones as managing director, replacing Mike Wilkie who quit last month (Broadcast, 21.6.02), writes Barbara Marshall.

Jones joined Rushes 12 years ago, initially as a VT operator and then rose through the ranks to become head of operations, manager of B2B services and finally facilities director last August.

Major projects that Jones has overseen include the launch of Rocket, Rushes' new media department, the development of Rushes' online services and the rebuilding of the 3D department.

Jones replaces Wilkie who left last month after less than a year, citing differences of 'vision' for the facility. Both firms are owned by Liberty Livewire.
