How would you describe your company culture?

We regard our job as being able to create an environment in which creative people can be creative.

We all work as a team. We are non-hierarchical, we have no manage ment job titles and we encourage ideas and discussion.

How do you bring out the best in your staff?

We only hire adults and we treat them like adults, which means we never monitor or police working hours. Members of our team know what is expected of them, and we leave them to do it.

We also have a ‘no recrimination’ policy – we try not to make mistakes, but if we do, we learn from them rather than apportion blame for them.

How have you improved the working environment and practices – and what future improvements are planned?

Limited space and the restrictions of our current tenancy make it diffi cult for us to provide facilities such as a kitchen area. We have in mind plans to improve this.

What are the essential qualities of a good work environment?

Make sure it’s fun. Everyone wants to win awards, but being a ‘best place to work’ is the accolade we most covet. improve this.
