Princess Productions has poached a Talkback Thames executive as part of efforts to boost its factual entertainment development.

Natasha Bondy, head of factual features development at Talkback, will join the Shine Group-owned indie as head of fact ent on 6 September, while Kelly Webb-Lamb has been promoted to the position of creative director of factual entertainment.

Princess is looking to build on previous fact ent shows, including Channel 4’s The Deadly Knowledge Show, and increase the number of formats it is creating.

“There’s a real creative buzz within the company and I look forward to expanding Princess’s factual entertainment output at this pivotal stage,” said Bondy.

A Talkback spokeswoman said Hannah Brownhill will become acting head of development for factual features. She has been with the FremantleMedia-owned indie for six years and her credits include Great British Railway Journeys (pictured) and Who Does What.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for Natasha and we wish her well,” the spokeswoman added.

All of Talkback’s 150 staff are currently in consultation over their roles, and the firm is likely to shed about 30 jobs.
