DP World Tour adds Trackman tech for broadcast & social content

The DP World Tour has partnered with Trackman to bring its ball tracing technology to its broadcasts and social media content. 

As the official launch monitor and official ball tracing technology of the tour, the Trackman tech and data will be used in the DP World Tour’s host broadcasts, which are produced in-house by European Tour Productions. It will also be used by the tour’s social media team to create new content strands and challenges. 

Trackman will also be used onsite at competitions with Trackman simulator experiences for spectators at select events, and the DP World Tour will work with Trackman on its simulator-based tour the Next Golf Tour Powered by Trackman. The pair had previously worked together on this, with the winner being invited to compete in a DP World Tour event.
