Ease Live technology enables interactive elements on-screen to stay synchronised with live streams across all devices and platforms

Ease Live has has been granted a US patent for its proprietary graphical overlay technology.
The technology is the foundation for interactive live viewing experiences across streamed sports and entertainment.
The patented technology ensures that the interactive data remains accurate and in sync with the stream at all times, regardless of device or platform, so that stats, quizzes, polls, replays, sponsor graphics, contextual advertising and other on-stream elements align precisely with the live action.
The patent (No. 12,556,777) marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing mission to redefine sports viewing, says Ease Live.
“This patent reflects years of innovation and close collaboration with our partners across the global sports and live streaming ecosystem,” said Kjetil Horneland, chief executive officer of Ease Live. “In solving one of the core challenges in streaming interactivity – ensuring that data and graphics always match the moment being watched – it underpins state-of-the-art fan engagement and creates new commercial opportunities for content owners, broadcasters and rights holders.”
Ease Live technology has been used across sports broadcasts including basketball, baseball, ice hockey, football, tennis, padel and motorsport. As a three-pointer drops, a home run is hit, a goal is scored, or a match point is won, real-time overlays appear natively over the video, enabling interactive features such as polls, trivia and other real-time features, without interrupting the action.
