Solution allows single technician to run a virtual production studio
Mo-Sys has launched MoStudio, a platform that brings together its products into one solution.
MoStudio allows users to automate a virtual production studio, creating a rundown with drag-and-drop blocks that represent backgrounds, presenters, scripts, and camera shots, among other aspects. .
This means that a single technician can run the studio from a tablet, cutting between cameras, transitioning between blocks, trigger graphics, setting parameters for automatic camera framing, toggling virtual monitors, and more.
The resulting 3D virtual sets can include live, data-driven AR graphics and charts, with real-time motion capture so presenters can interact with gesture-driven AR elements. Video calls from contributors can also be brought onto screen, and other presenters can be “beamed in” from other studios.
MoStudio works with both green screen and LED wall studios, and allows for XR set extensions.
