Exec joins the virtual studios and graphics company from HBO Max

Baris Zavaroglu Appointed as the New CEO of Zero Density

Zero Density has named Baris Zavaroglu as its CEO, taking over from Ofir Benovici, who leaves the company after two years.

Zavaroglu has been tasked with continuing the company’s global expansion, and evolving it from a virtual studios provider to a comprehensive, end-to-end real-time graphics solution provider serving the needs of broadcasters, content creators, e-sports and studios worldwide.

He joins Zero Density after three years as general manager of HBO Max in Turkey, and before that held senior positions at Turkcell, Fox, and Disney during over 20 years in the industry. He has also worked across the OTT, pay-TV, linear TV, AVOD and FAST markets.

Zavaroglu said: “I am truly honored to join Zero Density at such an exciting time, a company renowned for its innovation and excellence in virtual production and real-time motion graphics. I look forward to working closely with our talented team, partners and customers to drive the next phase of growth and deliver the next generation of storytelling tools to the industry.”

Kuban Altan, co-founder of Zero Density, added: “Baris’s extensive experience and visionary leadership make him the ideal person to lead Zero Density into its next chapter. We are confident that under his guidance, the company will continue to set new standards in the industry and achieve greater heights.”
