Welsh Indie Tinopolis has been granted a subsidy of over£125,000 from the European Union to develop several drama and animation projects. The funding will be equally divided between its Fiction Factory drama division and animation arm Dave Edwards Entertainment - two companies in the Tinopolis Group. Tinopolis will match the£180,000 subsidy, granted by the EU's Media Plus Programme which considers competitive applications from TV producers across Europe. The funding will help move on five drama projects and five animation projects currently in the early stages of development which are being aimed at both the international and UK markets.Tinopolis head of programmes Adam Salkeld said: "This will allow us to take a number of concepts being explored and develop them into something we can present to the market."
