WEDNESDAY: The latest series of The Only Way Is Essex bowed out with nearly 1.4m viewers, helping deliver its best run to date.
ITV2’s structured reality series drew 1.38m (7.64%) across the 10pm hour and a further 206,800 (2.24%) on ITV2+1, according to overnight Barb figures supplied by Attentional.
It was one of the best ratings of the run, second only to the series three debut of 1.56m (9.28%) on 25 September.
The 14-part series, which aired on Sunday and Wednesday nights, managed a series average of 1.11m (6.1%).
This tops the overnights average of 590,000 (3.2%) for the first series from October to November 2010 and 955,000 (5%) for the second, from March to May 2011.
