Fox Kids Europe (FKE) has said that increased competition in the UK could generate greater content sales for the company. FKE chairman and chief executive officer Ynon Kriez told Broadcast that new children's services, including those from Walt Disney TV and the proposed services from the BBC, will need more content. 'That triggers more opportunities for us - we can act as a content provider,' he said. FKE already supplies the terrestrials with content, including Digimon: Digital Monsters (above) to ITV. Last week FKE turned in a 27 per cent year-on-year increase in revenues to May 31 to $100.4m (£71m). For the same period its UK revenues rose 20 per cent to $22.6m (£16m).
