Belgian broadcaster VMMa has acquired a raft of British documentaries and factual entertainment formats after striking a deal with Zodiak Rights.

The commercial broadcaster, which operates a number of channels including general entertainment station VTM, international imports channel 2BE and lifestyle network Vitaya, has bought over 80 hours of programming from the distributor.

Among the shows acquired are Blast! Films’ 999: What’s Your Emergency, Special Edition Films’ Britain’s Strangest Pets, Twofour’s The Hotel Inspector, and Firecracker Films’ Thelma’s Gypsy Girl.

IWC Media’s Big Body Squad and international versions of Trinny & Susannah’s Makeover Mission and Maverick TV’s Embarrassing Bodies have also been picked up.
