US cable network Bravo has ordered 17 new series as part of its latest programming slate including projects from BBC Worldwide and Monkey Kingdom. 

The NBC Universal-owned female-skewing broadcaster has commissioned reality series Newlyweds: The First Year from Monkey Kingdom and Ladies of London from BBC Worldwide.

Newlyweds: The First Year, is exec produced by Will Macdonald, David Granger and Lauren Lazin and will follow four diverse couples as they experience the trials and tribulations of their first 365 days of married life. 

Ladies of London, which will be exec produced by Dancing with the Stars producers Izzie Pick Ashcroft and Michael Brooks, follows a group of British socialites and American expats living the glamorous life in the UK capital.

Meanwhile Bravo has funded developments including High and Low from former Channel 4 chief executive Michael Jackson and Gordon Ramsay’s America’s Best Restaurant.

High and Low, a period drama located in a New York restaurant in the 1980s, is exec produced by Jackson and Moneyball’s Rachael Horovitz and is written by The Sopranos’ Michael Imperioli. 

America’s Best Restaurants is produced by Ramsay’s indie One Potato Two Potato and is a remake of Ramsay’s Best Restaurant, which aired on C4. The food competition series will be exec produced by Ramsay, Pat Llewellyn and Ben Adler.
