Sky Arts new series starring Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood has been picked up for worldwide distribution by Electric Sky.

The factual distributor has acquired the 10 x 30-minute Ronnie Wood Show from indie Somethin’ Else.

The series captures the making of Wood’s show for Absolute Radio, which is broadcast in the UK and on stations in Canada, Japan, Finland and Holland.

Electric Sky will shop the series to buyers at the Mipcom market in Cannes next week along with new titles Rooftop Rainforest, a 2 x 60-minute eco-doc from Rival Media for Sky 1, and ITN Productions’ Game Changer: London 2012, about how people and businesses are pulling together ahead of the Olympics.

In addition, the distributor has picked up history title Decoding the World’s First Computer (w/t), a one-off from Images First Productions about whether the Greeks built a working computer 2,000 years ago.
