ITV dramas Vera and Monroe are set to launch around the world following a raft of new deals.
ITV Studios Global Entertainment has secured 14 sales around the two series, both of which have been recommissioned.
Vera, starring Brenda Blethyn as a troubled detective, has been sold to:
- RUV (Iceland)
- RTV Slovenija (Slovenia)
- TV4 (Sweden)
- NRK (Norway)
- AXN Mystery (Japan).
Monroe, a medical drama series starring James Nesbitt as the eponymous neurosurgeon, has been acquired by:
- ABC Television
- Baltijos TV (Lithuania)
- True Visions (Thailand)
- Sky HD (South Korea)
- Singtel (Singapore)
- NRK (Norway)
- Shaw Media (Canada)
- Prime (New Zealand)
- YLE (Finland)
ITVS GE will be selling both series at Mipcom in Cannes next month alongside the new US remake of crime drama Prime Suspect, courtroom drama The Jury, written by Peter Morgan and starring Julie Walters, and Appropriate Adult, based on the real life aftermath of the Fred West murders.
It will also be selling crime dramas Underbelly: Razor and Above Suspicion: Silent Scream.
