Sacked BBC journalist awarded £50k
Chandana Keerthi Bandara, a BBC journalist working on its Sri Lankan Sinhala service, has been awarded £50,000 compensation by an employment tribunal after his failure to prioritise news of Prince George’s birth contributed to his dismissal in 2015.
