The BBC self Service thing has been working for a few years now and its true, once you have a purchase order you do get paid within 4 days. However, if the planning department aren't very organised it can a few weeks for the purchase order to arrive.

I'm surprised Granada isn't on there, their standard waiting time for payment is two months. If you happen to invoice at the start of the month it becomes a very long time to wait. ie invoice June 1st, processed at the end of the month for payment at the end of July assuming you have a PO number by then.

Also had problems with BBC booking and cancelling last minute despite having driven 200 miles to get there. They refused to pay a single penny! Would like to know what my rights are in this case??
