The third series of Made in Chelsea was the most watched series on Channel 4’s video-on-demand service in April – attracting 2.37m views to the service while The Undateables also featured in the top 10.

The series knocked Big Fat Gypsy Weddings off the top spot, while American thriller Homeland moved up the chart into second place with 1.87m views. In March the series starring Damian Lewis and Claire Danes was the fifth most watched series.

Other new series in the chart included Kayvan Novak comedy series Facejacker and The Undateables, which followed disabled people going out on blind dates. The series, which has been re-commissioned, was the sixth most watched series on 4oD – attracting 1.51m views.

During April the 4oD was watched 41m times across all platforms taking the total VoD views so far this year to 177m. The service being accessed through attracted 4.1m unique viewers. Viewers watching through the C4 website spent an average of 32.8 minutes watching per view and 2.5 hours per unique user.

Meanwhile entertainment was the most watched genre attracting 9.9m views followed by drama with 9.28m.
