Honeycomb, the TV and video advertising management platform started by James Carpenter and Richard Carter, the founders of Adstream, has raised £3m in Series A investment funding.

Venture capitalist Beringea leads the funding. Framestore chairman John Spearman is also an investor.

Honeycomb raised £1m in a “friends and family” funding round in May.

Officially launched in August, Honeycomb’s platform is said to speed up the delivery chain for adverts by automating elements of the submission process.
