Twofour is heading to Spain with Alex Polizzi in a six-part series for Channel 5.
Alex Polizzi’s Secret Spain will find the presenter traversing remote villages, bustling cities and grand hotels to explore the country’s history, culture and landscape.
Twofour’s previous outings with the presenter for C5 include Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy and Alex Polizzi’s Italian Islands.
The former scored a 1.1m (4.3%) consolidated average at the end of last year in an 8pm midweek slot, while the latter, which aired in June 2016, average 483,000 (2.6%) in a 7pm Friday slot.
Secret Spain, which will air next year, was commissioned by C5 director of programmes Ben Frow.
Twofour director of programmes Dan Adamson is exec producing for the This Time Next Year indie.
Adamson said: “Spain is a consistent favourite with British holidaymakers and in this programme we see why. We hope this series will give viewers inspiration with a fresh look at all that this beautiful country has to offer.”
