Last One Laughing S2 has bagged the likes of Alan Carr, Romesh Ranganathan, Diane Morgan and David Mitchell

Amazon Prime Video has revealed its star-studded line-up for the second series of its hit comedy format Last One Laughing.

The second instalment will include David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Romesh Ranganathan, Amy Gledhill, Maisie Adam, Mel Giedroyc, Alan Carr, Gbemisola Ikumelo and Sam Campbell alongside returning champion Bob Mortimer, which Broadcast revealed last month.

Jimmy Carr will also return as host of the show, with Roisin Conaty again his deputy.

The series landed a second run after its impressive debut, which drew over 6m views after 28 days, bettering tentpole drama Fallout on the streaming service, and only just behind Clarkson’s Farm – Prime Video’s most popular series in the UK.

LOL challenges top comics to make each other laugh, without laughing themselves, with the last one standing the victor.

Series one featured Daisy May Cooper, Joe Lycett, Judi Love, Rob Beckett, Sara Pascoe, Lou Sanders, Joe Wilkinson, Harriet Kemsley, Richard Ayoade and Mortimer.

Mortimer beat out Ayoade to take the inaugural LOL UK title.
