Atempo will give visitors to BVE 2010 a sneak preview of a new version of its Digital Archive (ADA) technology that can keep track of Apple Final Cut Server metadata information on archived assets.

The new enhancement brings users improved restore and search capabilities either from the Final Cut Server interface or directly from ADA’s user interface.

The metadata management capability keeps track of all the metadata inserted during the different phases of the project, starting from raw footage ingestion to the editing phases and project completion, allowing for fast and efficient asset search and retrieval.

The demo will be available at booth K22.

“Atempo has worked closely with customers in the creative markets to address the specific data protection and archiving needs of these data-intensive environments,” said Fabrice de Salaberry, vice president of sales at Atempo.

Atempo develops a suite of data management technology applications designed for the media and entertainment industries.

The company will also show its Time Navigator, a device for ensuring that active data stored on primary storage is backed up and fully protected.

Broadcast Video Expo 2010 takes place at Earls Court 2 in London, February 16-18.
