Why should your organisation be included on the Best Places to Work in TV list?

Due to our approach to flexible working, our ethos is to support both clients and our staff to get the best work-life balance. We have a good balance of diversity and inclusivity across the business. Our team is drawn from a wide ethnic and gender background.

What makes an employee want to stay at your organisation?

We are a friendly bunch, working in a fun and supportive atmosphere. We believe career progression is core, as is recognising people’s individual talents and tailoring their roles to make best use of their skill set and to help them feel fulfilled in their role.

What is your strategy for recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce?

During the recruitment process, we establish the diversity of each candidate and include that knowledge in our deliberations, looking favourably on the more diverse candidates while still employing the right person for the role. Current staff are asked what measures and allowances are needed to make them feel welcome and at home.

What best practices does your organisation use to keep your remote workforce engaged?

Regular, structured remote work meetings and social events to include remote workers in the team. We organise travel and accommodation to the main site for those who live some distance away. Food vouchers are also sent out to remote workers to join in social events remotely.

Are managers trained to look for and deal with signs of mental stress, fatigue and burnout?

Yes. Our HR manager has completed a mental health first-aid course and has subsequently trained senior management.
