Broadcast is once again on the hunt for the best TV talent under the age of 30 in our annual Hot Shots.

Entries are now welcome for Hot Shots 2012, a special supplement that will appear in the 24 August issue of Broadcast, which will be distributed to influential executives and producers at the Edinburgh TV Festival.

We’re looking for people to nominate star names in seven key categories:

  • Directing
  • Production
  • Writing
  • Craft
  • Post-Production
  • Business, Strategy and Marketing
  • Digital

Completed forms are due in by 10 July and should be completed by a senior figure within a production company, digital agency or broadcaster on behalf of their chosen nominee(s).

Successful candidates will be notified by telephone later in July and will be invited to a London photoshoot with their peers in early August.

Hot Shots has long been recognised as the place to find the best rising TV talent and the movers and shakers of tomorrow.

Previous Broadcast Hot Shots include BBC1 controller Danny Cohen, The Office co-creator Steven Merchant, BBC3 controller Zai Bennett, Shine chief Liz Murdoch and Red founder Nicola Shindler.
