Exec will lead sales in MENA and APAC at Phil Gurin’s format company
LA-based TGC Global Entertainment has hired former All3Media exec Kelly Shek to its global sales agent network.
Shek will oversee sales and acquisitions for MENA and Asia Pacific at the Phil Gurin-led firm, joining TGC GE’s other sales agents Cecilia Ingebrigtsen, Roxanne Pompa and Carolina Sofia den Baas.
She was most recently working for All3Media International, where she licensed titles such as The Traitors, Race Across the World, and Cash Cab. Prior to All3, Shek worked for DRG.
TGC GE recently picked up rights to digital-first dating formats from Elixir in the US, and also counts reality competition format Code Red: The Lighthouse from Norway’s NRK on its slate, as well as Chinese format Gold Rush.
Gurin said Shek’s “background, keen insights and extensive contacts and experience of these territories are incredibly valuable to us at a time where we are building a truly global network of partners and productions.”
