Anderson becomes director at Amazon’s ads brand innovation lab, having previously been head of brand and content innovation for Amazon MGM Studios.

She had also overseen unscripted output for Prime Video and ad-supported platform Freevee, the latter shuttered a year ago.

Anderson will now focus on brand partnerships for Amazon stablemates such as Twitch, Amazon Music, Fire TV and Amazon Store.

She is passing on her unscripted remit to Peter Friedlander, who left Netflix to become head of global TV at Amazon MGM Studios last month.

He is set to appoint an unscripted exec who will oversee the genre for Amazon, according to Deadline which broke the news. Broadcast International has contacted Amazon for comment.

The reshuffle comes two months since Friedlander replaced Vernon Sanders, gaining a vast remit across scripted and unscripted shows such as Beast Games, as well as Barry Poznick’s MGM Alternative TV unit.

The latter division produces numerous unscripted shows ranging from Shark Tank and the US version of The Voice to The Real Housewives franchise, as well as owning companies including Big Fish Entertainment.

Anderson’s move is the latest in a series of senior exec reshuffles at Amazon, which followed Jen Salke’s shock exit in March.

Amazon MGM Studios also recently installed its international originals chief, Nicole Clemens, who has responsibility for UK scripted series.
