La Decision explores what happens when a French president’s illegitimate daughter goes missing

Apple TV has ordered a seven-episode French-language thriller starring Diane Kruger and Raphaël Personnaz.
La Decision explores how the life of a French president (Personnaz) is turned upside down when an eight-year-old girl - who is his illegitimate daughter - goes missing.

The story tracks how he attempts to find the girl, who was born of a secret affair unknown to his wife and confidante Nora (Kruger).
French trio Solab Films, Mediawan-backed White Lion Films and M Films produce, with Carême’s Martin Bourboulon and Louis Farge directing .
Exec producers include Noor Sadar, Nicolas Tiry and Bourboulon, with the latter two coming up with the original idea.
The series was created by Marc Dugain, Corinne Garfin, Lamara Leprêtre Habib and Xabi Molia.
The series joins Apple TV’s upcoming French thriller The Hunt, which debuts 3 December, alongside existing series Drops of God and Carême.
