Including a John Le Carré adaptation, a darkly comedic drama and Stephen Fry’s tribute to procedurals

As the global industry packs its bags for Mipcom next week, Broadcast International showcases a selection of the key scripted series making their way to Cannes.

This year’s scripted picks include Fifth Season’s highly anticipated John Le Carré adaptation Legacy Of Spies and ITV Studios’ The Galway Bay Murders, which sees Blue Lights producer Two Cities Television venturing out of Belfast and into Ireland’s rugged west coast.

Banijay Entertainment’s Reputation provides a fix for acquisition execs in the market for a glossy legal drama, while Avalon’s dark comedic drama Tall Tales & Murder has production pedigree in spades.

There’s also Stephen Fry’s tribute to procedurals, The Interrogator, which is set to create a buzz and leads the line for Lionsgate Television.
