Valerio Motti to oversee EMEA for fast-growing streaming monetisation company
Former Fremantle and Paramount exec Valerio Motti has joined streaming monetisation firm Merzigo to lead its operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Broadcast International has learned.
Motti becomes managing director for Merzigo EMEA and is tasked with enabling studios and rights holders to maximise revenues from AVOD platforms such as YouTube.
He was most recently in the same role at live video platform Zixi, which he joined in Jauary 2024, and before that was vice president of FAST channels at Fremantle, where he oversaw numerous rights deals and launches for the RTL Group-owned giant.
He has also held positions at Shorts TV and was vice president of digital media, business development and content distribution at Paramount for six years.

Merzigo employs more than 500 people working across offices in London, LA and Istanbul. The company manages more than 5,000 channels on YouTube, which it says receive over 13 billion views monthly.
