Who Wants to Start? features five celebrities in an unplanned conversation

Israel’s Keshet 12 has commissioned an “emotionally-driven celebrity roundtable” format that will be rolled out for international buyers at Mipcom in October.
Who Wants to Start? has been created by Assi Azar, Anat Stalinsky and Keshet Broadcasting, and will premiere on the Israeli channel this summer.
The show is from Baron Productions and brings together five well-known personalities who all share one defining life experience - from anxiety and divorce to parenthood, grief or starting over.
The quintet is then placed in a single room and their conversation filmed in front of an intimate studio audience, with no script and no prior knowledge of who else is taking part.
Azar is host and moderator on the Israeli version, alongside veteran producer Ido Baron (The Amazing Race Israel) and director Anat Stalinsky (The A-Talks, Married at First Sight Israel). Keshet International distributes globally.
Azar said: “Throughout my career, I’ve learned the power of sharing the things we usually keep to ourselves. Coming out and speaking about my anxiety showed me how not alone we really are—and that’s what inspired Who Wants to Start? It’s a simple idea: we are not alone. And that’s what this show is here to prove.”
Hilik Sharir, chief exec at Keshet 12, added that the series creates “meaningful, entertaining television without relying on conflict, and shows well-known personalities in a more open, human way.”
Keshet 12 and Keshet International have previously worked on shows such as Rising Star, BOOM! and Deal With It!.
