Lea Gabrié to lead L/Intruse which will sit within super-indie’s Tetra Media Studio

ITV Studios has launched a production label through its France-based Tetra Media Studio.

L/Intruse is the brainchild of Léa Gabrié, a producer from Tetra’s scripted division Tetra Media Fiction.

The production outfit will join the Tetra Media Studio group which comprises Beaubourg Audiovisuel, GoodCop, Macondo, Colette Productions, Gramma Prod, Tangaro Productions and Tetra Media Fiction.

Gabrié said: “Launching this label today is a natural step. My past experiences, far from being contradictory, nourish my vision and my ambition is to develop projects that are general public but that speak to the heart.”

Thierry Lachkar, president of Tetra Media Studio, said that L/Intruse is “part of our philosophy of supporting our talent”.

He added: “This label marks an important step for Léa Gabrié. We have great confidence in Léa and her ability to bring together writers and directors around unique and committed projects.”

Gabrié formerly worked at Mediawan Group’s Scarlett Production as literary director, overseeing series including Les Sauvages.

L'Intruse

L/Intruse takes its name from the first series Gabrié produced with Tetra, a thriller about the deterioration of the relationship between new mother Paula, who recruits seemingly perfect young woman Tess to help her with her baby, but who isn’t what she seems.

The 4 x 52 minutes series is created by Nathalie Abdelnour and written by Nathalie Saugeon, It is set to premiere on France Télévisions’ France 2 on 5 March.

Besides other projects developed within L/Intruse in collaboration with Tetra Media Studio, Gabrié is co-producing miniseries Laura with Emmanuel Daucé for France 2.

Lachkar took control of Tetra Media Studio in September after a management restructure which sees him oversee the label alongside his responsibilities for ITVS France.
