UK's Celebrity Traitors set record

The climax of the second season of Studio Lambert’s The Celebrity Traitors hit 11.2m (62.9%) on Friday - a record high for the format in the UK, just pipping the conclusion of the previous series which entertained 11.1m (62.3%) in a slightly later 9pm slot on a Thursday in November 2025.

Comfortably beating the slot average of 3.1m (27.5%), the episode brought in the highest average audience of the series, and the biggest BBC1 audience of the year so far. It was the biggest audience for both the celebrity and civilian versions of The Traitors since it launched in the UK in 2022.

Nevertheless, the finale’s peak audience of 11.6m (64.2%) at 9pm fell slightly short of the previous peak of 12m (68.3%) for the celebrity spin-off.

The series averaged 9.7m (59%) across its 10 episodes. Read more
