Netflix is expanding its partnerships with YouTube creators after striking a deal that will see shows from US-based Mythical Entertainment appearing on the streamer.

Good Mythical Morning (GMM), Mythical Kitchen, and Last Meals will debut on Netflix from 7 September, with new episodes dropping day-and-date with YouTube.

Netflix subscribers will also be able to watch a library of episodes from the three shows, which is the latest tie up between the streamer and YouTube creators following deals for shows such as Hot Ones and an adaptation of drama Minimum Wage.

Good Mythical Morning is hosted by Mythical founders Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal, with the show featuring the duo eating unusual items, exploring new products and trends, and competing in games with celebrity guests.

Mythical Kitchen is hosted by chef Josh Scherer, who cooks up unexpected dishes with his team, while the same host is behind Last Meals, which sees Scherer and celebrity guests discussing the meals they would choose for their last day on earth.

“One of the things we’ve always believed is that great entertainment should meet people wherever they are,” said McLaughlin and Neal.

“We’re excited to begin working with Netflix to bring Good Mythical Morning, Mythical Kitchen, and Last Meals to even more viewers, and we think this is just the beginning of a really fun collaboration.”

Mythical was launched more than a decade ago by Rhett and Link, and now employs more than 90 people in Burbank. LA. Its owned and operated YouTube channels have amassed more than 35 million subscribers and 15 billion lifetime views.
