The group developing BBC Broadcasting House has ditched the architect in charge over 'creative differences'. The BBC, along with builders Bovis Lend Lease and developers Land Securities, decided not to continue working with architectural firm MacCormac Jamieson Prichard (MJP), headed by Sir Richard MacCormac. He had mapped out the second phase of the development, which will see older buildings on the site replaced with new offices for news, radio and other departments. But the project is now running late and over budget. Its original completion date of 2008 has been put back to 2010.
