The FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series reached 90 million views across its social media channels in 2026.

This was an 88% increase on 2025, and was complemented by 137.8 million impressions (97% increase) and 4.6 million engagements (77% increase).

This is after the competition expanded to 25 events from the 15 it had in 2025.

The final in Shanghai earlier this year was particularly successful, 12.82 million views and 14.43 million impressions across FIBA 3x3 channels. This compares with 5.96 million views and 8.8 million impressions for the 2025 final.

Alex Sanchez, FIBA 3x3 managing director, said: “The 2026 season reflects the continued development of the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series as a global competition and platform. The record calendar, growing audience and expanding network of teams, players, host cities and partners demonstrate the value the Series can create across the wider 3x3 basketball ecosystem.”
