The title, European qualification, and relegation will all be decided in the final round of fixtures.

Multigoal

LaLiga is to use a mutligoal broadcast format for its final weekend, with a number of important league positions going down to the wire.

In the UK, the two games that will decide the title, Vallodolid v Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid v Villarreal, will be shown on Premier Sports 1 and 2, with the rest on LaLiga TV. All games are at 5pm on Saturday, with the exception of Levante v Cadiz, Granada v Getafe, and Sevilla v Alaves - all teams which are safe from relegation and either not in the European qualification battle or have already qualified.

In addition to streaming the live games, LaLiga TV will make use of the multigoal system - which has been likened to “Soccer Saturday but with added live action” by head of content and programming Roger Brosel.

Coverage will switch from one game to another in real time to follow the most exciting moments in the title, European qualification, and relegation battles.

In order to put this into action, 610 staff will be on OB productions onsite across the country, over 150 in a central operations centre for remote production of graphics, master control room, highlights, and more, and there will be 22 Spanish language commentators plus 14 English.

After the final weekend, LaLiga TV will be airing the LaLiga Smartbank playoffs, which will decide who gets to play in the top division next season. Going into July, a number of documentaries on topics such as the playoffs, title winners, the promoted teams, the top scorer, and more, will keep the channel full of content before the next campaign begins in August.
