The streaming giant’s popular sports documentary strand is launching a three-part UK football special
Netflix docuseries UNTOLD is to launch a UK-specific mini series in May. The three-part special tells three standalone stories that focus on “epic events and personalities in the world of football”.
UNTOLD UK features Jamie Vardy; Liverpool’s 2005 Champions League winning team; and Vinnie Jones. Netflix says each episode will go beyond the headlines and upend what we thought we knew, providing candid, no-holds-barred accounts from those who lived it.
Episodes will be released weekly beginning Tuesday 12 May.
UNTOLD UK: Jamie Vardy premiers on Tuesday 12 May, then UNTOLD UK: Liverpool’s Miracle of Istanbul will be released on Tuesday 19 May, and finally UNTOLD UK: Vinnie Jones launches on Tuesday 26 May.
