Premier Sports will air more than 800 live football games this season, including coverage of Scottish football, LaLiga, Coppa Italia and DFB Pokal

The broadcaster says this is a major expansion of its international football offering. Subscribers will now have access to live coverage of Dutch Eredivisie, Argentina’s Primera División, and Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série A league.

Each round, Premier Sports will broadcast two Eredivisie matches; two matches per round from the Argentine Primera; and two matches per round from Brazil’s Série A.

Premier Sports CEO Richard Sweeney said: “We’re proud to bring our customers even more football from every corner of the globe. From Scotland’s three major competitions to the best of European football, and all the way to Brazil and Argentina, Premier Sports now delivers over 800 live games every season.”

Last week, Premier Sports renewed its deal with LaLiga to screen live coverage of LaLiga matches for the next three seasons. With the exception of the Saturday 8pm match, Premier Sports will show every match live and exclusive as part of the new agreement.

Premier Sports also shows games every week from Spain’s Segunda División, LaLiga Hypermotion, alongside Coppa Italia and DFB-Pokal. It also shows in-depth coverage of Scottish football throughout the season from the Scottish Premiership, Scottish Cup and Premier Sports Cup.
