TNT Sports has added a number of new pundits and broadcast innovations for the 2025/26 football season.

These innovations will include dressing room cameras (building on those employed by TNT Sports in some matchday broadcasts over the past two seasons), half-time interviews with players and managers and in-match interviews becoming a, “staple,” of its live football coverage.

Scott Young, EVP WBD Sports Europe, said: “This football season we are kicking off with more football than ever before with the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa Leage, UEFA Conference League and new this season the Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup all in one place, an extraordinary line up of trophies will be celebrated on TNT Sports.

“Our football coverage continues to evolve.  We will continue to bring new storytellers, insight and angles to fans, with even more access across our Premier League and FA Cup coverage we are also delighted to be able to bring more dressing room, pitch and player content than ever before.”

The 2025/26 season also sees TNT Sports broadcast the men’s and women’s FA Cups for the first time, with a minority of the men’s games also shown by the BBC and women’s by Channel 4. It is working with the FA on creating consistent “appointment to view” time slots for the competitions.

There will be a number of documentaries telling stories from the FA Cup, including The People’s Story: The FA Cup, a 90-minute film set to air ahead of the men’s FA Cup 3rd Round in January 2026, that will tell the stories of Everton’s Mike Trebilcock, Sunderland’s 1973 FA Cup triumph, the emotional 1989 FA Cup Final between Liverpool and Everton, Paul Gascoigne’s memorable contribution to Tottenham’s 1991 FA Cup victory and the inside story behind Crystal Palace’s run to the 2025 FA Cup Final that saw the club win the first piece of silverware in their 164-year history.

Former Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa and England defender Anita Asante, ex-Arsenal and England midfielder Fara Williams and former Arsenal, Manchester City and Scotland defender Jen Beattie will be on TNT Sports’ punditry team for the women’s FA Cup.

TNT Sports is also the broadcaster of UEFA competitions the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League, and has added Gareth Bale and Michail Antonio to its punditry team for these competitions.

All of this coverage will be promoted through a new partnership with Talksport, which will see TNT Sports presenters, pundits and commentators  join Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent every Friday on Talksport’s Friday Night Live each week between 6-7pm. This won’t only be football talent, with rugby pundit Ugo Monye joining for the first show on Friday 15th.

TNT Sports has also become a corporate member of Women In Football, aiming to raise awareness of the opportunities for women in the sport.
