Channel 4 has ordered a property series that will see homes being revamped in a bid to raise their value by £15,000.
Jonnie Irwin, presenter of A Place in the Sun, will front the programme alongside Simon O’Brien and will see experts given three days and £3,000 to change the look of a property and add the value.
The 25 x 60-minute series will be produced by Zodiak’s RDF Television and has been commissioned from C4’s Daytime department. Executive producer is Will Smith.

Helen Warner, head of daytime, ordered the series that is expected to play out in the 11am slot later this year and will be stripped over five weeks.
Other programmes lined up for the slot include Phil Spencer: Secret Agent produced by Raise the Roof Productions.
The programme will see Spencer trying to sell properties stuck on the stagnant housing market, by finding potential purchasers and trying to add features to the house to make it more appealing.
A Place in the Sun and A Place in the Sun: Home and Away made by Freeform Productions was also recently re-commissioned for another 80 hours. The programme will be presented by Irwin and Jasmine Harman.
The department has been given an extra £2.5m budget to spend this year.
