Channel 4 is sending comedian Jon Richardson on the road to discover what is takes to be a ‘happy adult’ for its latest order from Open Mike Productions.
Jon Richardson Grows Up follows the 8 Out of 10 Cats star and his companion Matt ‘Fordy’ Forde on a trip around the UK as they meet the public to find out how to be ‘grown-up’.
The 3 x 60-minute series, due to air later this year, will combine clips of Richardson’s stand-up show with original footage.
C4 entertainment commissioning editor Madeleine Knight, who ordered the show, said Richardson was “a unique comedy talent.”
“It’s exciting to take him from behind the 8 Out Of 10 Cats desk and send him across the country to find answers to life’s biggest questions,” she added.
Jon Richardson Grows Up is produced and executive produced by Jude Parker and Andrew Baint respectively.
