Cinegy has appointed CandelaMedia to act as a reseller and integrator of its workflow and asset management technology in the UK.

The Pinewood Studios-based company has been appointed as a ‘premium Technology Partner’ and will introduce broadcast and post companies to Cinegy products, helping them to make the transition to tapeless working.

CandelaMedia managing director Stuart Murray said “Cinegy workflow represents the only single supplier tapeless workflow solution that encompasses all aspects of digital production. I am very impressed with the progress Cinegy has made and continues to make.”

The agreement has already spurned its first deal with CandelaMedia about to oversee the installation of Cinegy workflow at London post-production facility CTN.

Cinegy workflow is also being used by Siemens IT Solutions as a technology component of the BBC’s Digital Media Initiative.

Meanwhile, Cinegy has announced that it will host an Open Day later this month featuring product demonstrations and hands-on information sessions. The event takes place on 29 July 2009 at The Soho House in London from 1pm until 5pm.
