Capital Radio has recorded first half pre-tax profits down 20 per cent to #14.2m for the six months ending 31 March 2002. Radio revenues were down 7 per cent at £59.6m, while radio operating profit was down 16 per cent to #15.6m. The group predicted April and May 2002 radio revenues were likely to show a year-on-year decline of around 3 per cent.
