Don’t Get Catfished is produced by Bakers Dozen Studios and After Party Studios
Channel 4.0 dating format Don’t Get Catfished has secured a second series order ahead of its premiere on YouTube today (2 October).

Produced by Bakers Dozen Studios and After Party Studios, each episode sees a well-known creator ask questions of five unseen potential matches in a bid to pick the right date.
Three of the matches are genuine, but two are fellow creators pulling a prank on them, using voice scrambling tech to disguise their identity.
Those seeking love in the first series are C4.0 regulars Deji, Nella Rose, Konan, Zeze Millz, Romell Henry and Scousemali.
Evie Buckley, digital commissioning editor and C4.0 lead, Catriona White, digital commissioning executive and Sacha Khari, head of digital commissioning, ordered the 6 x 20-minute second series.
Don’t Get Catfished is exec produced by Bakers Dozen Studios’ Marvyn Benoit – who first pitched the idea in 2023 – and Jamie MacDonald and Sam Ewen from After Party Studios. It is series produced by Trent William-Jones.
Buckley said: “This is a hilarious and instantly moreish social experiment with all the familiar appeal of a dating format that really reflects the approach we’re taking with Channel 4.0 to cut through all the noise on YouTube.
“We know Don’t Get Catfished will quickly captivate our audience, so we wanted to ensure we quickly follow up on the first series with more chaos next year.”
