Contributors share ghost stories
Channel 4 has commissioned a horror docu-drama from Gap Year [pictured] indie Eleven Film.
Nightmares (w/t) is a 4 x 60-minute series in which contributors will recount stories of paranoid, paranormal activity and fear.
Each will share their real-life horror stories through straight-to-camera interviews, supported by ‘terrifying’ drama scenes.
The show was commissioned by C4 head of formats Dom Bird and will be executive produced by Joel Wilson, Jamie Campbell and Alex Marengo.
Bird said: “This series will deliver a haunting blend of first person testimony and cinematic drama, made all the more chilling with the knowledge that the stories are real.”
Eleven, which is also responsible for E4 drama Glue, became the fifth indie C4 invested in as part of its Growth Fund in November 2014.
Nightmares will air later this year.
