The Digidesign Icon D-Command suite will be built on the top floor of the company's Soho Square facility in a room that previously housed a standard definition linear editing suite.
It will be the group's tenth Pro Tools suite when it becomes operational in May and will be used for a variety of broadcast work.
“The new suite will complement our existing studios, doing a cross-section of work from drama to The X Factor,” said technical director David Klafkowski.
The £300,000 suite will feature Genelec speakers, a MSD600M++ multi-channel monitoring unit from DK, Dolby E encoders and a Dolby loudness meter.
Hardware will be provided by audio post reseller Scrub, technical installation by Wire Broadcast and acoustic design by Roger D'Arcy.
