Five has recommissioned Raw Cut’s blue-light show Police Interceptors for a third series.
Five head of news and current affairs Chris Shaw has ordered an extended 15 x 60-minute run of the series from the indie, which will again film with police in Essex as they set out to catch car thieves, drug dealers and robbers.
The two previous series ran to seven and 14 episodes and regularly attracted audiences of more than one million.
Blake McGrow will produce and the executive producers are Steve Warr and Bill Rudgard for Raw Cut and Shaw for Five.
“It’s about cops, criminals and fast cars,” said Shaw. “This is the UK’s highest octane fly-on-the-wall cop series.”
