Lucky Day Productions founder Damon Pattison has joined Keo Films to head up factual entertainment and formats.
Pattison left Zodiak Media-owned Lucky Day late last year and will now become Keo’s creative director of factual entertainment and formats, reporting into managing director Debbie Manners.
Keo, which is best known for its Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall programmes, will aim to draw on Pattison’s experience of producing a range of content, including BBC2’s Show Me the Monet, Love Shaft for E4 and CBBC’s Celebrity Driving Academy.
Manners said: “His experience and knowledge will be invaluable as we develop more factual entertainment programming. His appointment marks another major step forward for the company.”
Pattison added: “I am a huge fan of Keo’s shows and it is a real privilege to help develop what is already a major line up of programming.”
Before establishing Lucky Day in 2007, Pattison was head of development at Celador Productions where he created Channel 4’s You Are What You Eat and Turn Back Your Body Clock.
