Channel 4's suite of time-shifted channels are to join the free-to-air satellite TV service Freesat.

The broadcaster will launch Film 4+1, More 4+1 and E4+1 on the platform tomorrow (5 September), with Channel 4+1 due to appear later this month. Freesat already hosts +1 versions of ITV2 and ITV3.

The channels will automatically be updated via users' set-top boxes and join the main C4 portfolio on Freesat.

They join more than 130 TV and radio channels, including the BBC and ITV families of channels, Wedding TV, QVC and Classic FM.

Irish broadcaster RTÉ's radio channels RTÉ Radio 1, RTÉ 2fm, RTÉ lyric fm and RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta will also be available nationwide on Freesat from tomorrow.

E4+1 will be on channel 123, More 4+1 on 125, Film 4+1 on 301 and RTÉ's channels from 750 to 753.
