Leverage, the US con artist drama that previously aired on Bravo and Channel One, has been picked up by FX.

The channel, which has scored recent success with The Walking Dead and Falling Skies, has acquired all four seasons as well as the recently announced season five from Endemol Worldwide Distribution.

The deal was negotiated by Endemol UK/Eire sales director Gisela Asimus-Minnbergh.

Leverage focuses on the antics of a skilled team of thieves out to settle scores against those who use power and wealth to victimise others.

It is produced by Eclectic Entertainment for TNT.

Before Virgin Media’s sale to Sky, the drama aired on Bravo and Channel One throughout 2010. It aired more recently on Sky Living Loves.
